Support Student Wellbeing

The role of the pastoral care worker is to provide support and guidance to students, promoting their emotional wellbeing and helping them navigate personal challenges. This involves developing strategies to foster a positive school environment and creating opportunities for students to engage in activities that promote social and emotional learning.

This position requires the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to student support. The successful candidate will be skilled in providing pastoral care services, including individual and group counseling, and will have experience working with students who require additional support.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess relevant qualifications and experience in youth work or pastoral care. A current paid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) number and completion of anaphylaxis training are also essential requirements.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:
  • Certificate IV in Youth Work or Pastoral Care or equivalent
