Food Service Associate

To provide excellent guest service, we are seeking Food Service Associates to join our team.

Job Summary

As a Food Service Associate, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to transport food and beverages from the kitchen to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring great guest experiences and setting the tone for exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Food and Beverages: Transport food and beverages from the kitchen to guests, utilizing key information on tickets including table and seat numbers.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with servers and culinary team members to ensure seamless service.
  • Monitor Guest Experiences: Monitor and observe guest dining experiences, ensuring satisfaction with food and service.
  • Check with Customers: Check with customers to confirm they have everything they need during each visit.
  • Respond Promptly: Respond promptly to guest requests, communicating their needs to servers immediately.
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Maintain overall cleanliness of the restaurant and service areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist Bussers: Assist bussers as needed, particularly during peak periods or with large parties.
  • Provide Guidance: Provide guidance to guests on dining options and general attraction information.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the food and beverage industry, preferably as a busser or food runner.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to carry multiple plates for long distances up to 150 ft.
  • Menu Details: Retention of menu details and understanding of expo processes in fine dining restaurants.
  • Service Standards: Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparations, table settings, service standards, and guest etiquette.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently or as part of a team, maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
  • Personal Hygiene: Personal hygiene and well-groomed appearance essential.
  • Communication Skills: Effective listening and communication skills, with ability to take direction from supervisors.
  • Transportation: Transportation of up to 50lbs on a continuous basis and standing/walking for extended periods.
Additional Requirements:
  • Flexibility: Flexibility with working hours, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Readability: Ability to read kitchen tickets and understand seat number, table numbers, and course breakdowns.
