About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Care Director to join our team at Estia Health. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical care programs across our facilities.

Your primary focus will be on improving the wellbeing of our residents, working closely with our staff to develop and implement effective care plans. You will also be responsible for training and developing the skills of our carers and nurses, ensuring they have the knowledge and expertise to provide high-quality care.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will also be responsible for overseeing the financial management of our facilities, ensuring that we are providing the best possible care within our budget.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical care programs to improve resident outcomes
  • Train and develop the skills of our carers and nurses
  • Oversee the financial management of our facilities
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Registered Nurse qualification and current AHPRA registration
  • At least 3 years' experience in a nursing management role, preferably in aged care
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A strong understanding of aged care principles and practices
