Senior Estimator for Infrastructure and Construction Projects

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing detailed cost estimates for infrastructure and construction projects.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Analyse project-specific documentation, scope of works, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost-based estimates
  • Conduct material take-offs, labour, plant, and equipment cost assessments
  • Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations
  • Liaise with internal resources to compile site construction methodologies to support detailed cost-based estimates
  • Prepare tender submission proposals and presentations for clients

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years proven experience as a Construction Estimator for projects in the NSW/Australian market
  • Strong ability to analyse and interpret project-specific documentation, design drawings, and detailed specifications
  • Experience with preparation of detailed cost-based estimates for large-scale projects
  • Experience with supply and installation of Structural Steel
  • Experience with supply and installation of Architectural finishes
  • Sound knowledge of AS/NZS 5131 and TfNSW specifications B201 (CC2/CC3)
