Clough is seeking a Senior Estimator to join the Bidding Energy & Resources Team in our North Sydney office.

As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and comprehensive estimates for civil scopes including Transmission Lines, Road and Rail Infrastructure, Renewables, Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.

Travel during the Bid is required. This could be up to 6-8 weeks of regualr weekly travel to the Bid office/State.

Your focus will include:

• Analyse project plans, specifications, and scopes of work to develop accurate civil estimates for a wide range of projects.
• Interface with Technical Procurement to obtain competitive supplier and subcontractor pricing that is compliant with the project requirements.
• Collaborate with the tender team to develop and align methodology, schedule and pricing.
• Prepare detailed cost proposals, including comprehensive bid documentation and subcontractor scopes of work.
• Monitor and seek feedback of project costs throughout the bidding and construction phases, providing value engineering suggestions to maximize profitability.
• Evaluate project risks and opportunities, conducting thorough research and analysis to mitigate potential issues.

What you will bring to the team:

• Bachelor's degree Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field or trade qualifications
• Extensive experience in Civil Infrastructure and Energy industries
• Proficiency in estimating software and tools, ideally Candy and Primavera P6
• Demonstrated ability to prepare accurate first principals estimates and proposals within strict deadlines
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex multi discipline projects
• Flexible approach with effective communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
