Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of wellbeing carers to promote emotional and physical rehabilitation through person-first recreational activities

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and organize recreational activity programs
  • Ensure individual resident needs, values, spiritual, and cultural preferences are taken into account when providing recreational care

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or degree level qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in caring for the elderly within an aged or community care setting
  • Highly developed organization and time management skills
  • Able to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
