Job Title: Production Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead our manufacturing activities in Dandenong. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all production aspects, including industrial quality control management, supply chain process definition and validation, quality plan validation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for production contribution to industrial QCD management, supply chain process definition & validation, quality plan validation, production contribution of EHS risks & ergonomics analysis, and production preparation of the workshop.
  • Production planning preparation
  • Production resources & skills management (staffing, trainings, qualification)
  • Industrial process hand-over from production manufacturing engineer to production
  • The finalization of production preparation of the workshop
  • The complete scope of production activities for the product on the workshop, which also includes intermediate handover, self-inspections, dynamic checklist, NCR, rework, missing parts, waivers/deviations, incomplete operations
  • On time closing of work orders in MES
  • Productive & non-productive hours booked in MES of all operators

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum trade qualification
  • Previous position in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Experience in railway industry, preferably within an industrialization environment is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of special processes such as welding, crimping, fabrication etc.
  • Processes for industrials E2E, from engineering to delivery
  • Manufacturing processes and technologies
  • Greenfield/Brownfield development
  • Site facilities & maintenance
