Job Overview

PHE Power and Infrastructure is seeking a highly motivated Junior HSE Advisor to join our team based out of the Eagle Farm office on a permanent, full-time basis. This position will involve a mix of local and away work. We encourage candidates from across Brisbane and surrounding areas to apply.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HSE support, training, and building safety knowledge across for our people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership that encourages Work Health, Safety & Environment throughout site to create a continuous improvement culture and implement best practice management systems in the workplace
  • Undertake regular training needs analysis and manage internal audit programs in consultation with management team
  • Prepare reports, record data, and collect evidence of the site's compliance
  • Provide active management of workers' compensation matters, including rehabilitation, case management and return to work programs
  • Reporting any workers compensation matters to Management
  • Ensure that all people work sensibly, safely and abide to all WHS & Environmental Acts and Regulations
  • Conduct random D&A testing on site
  • Identify health, safety, and environmental non-conformances, conduct investigations and develop solutions for implementation
