In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality and consumer-focused nursing care using a wide range of nursing skills to care for a variety of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based advanced nursing care relevant to the practice setting and be accountable for the delegation of care in accordance with the NMBA Decision-Making Framework.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary team and family meetings to ensure a high standard of consumer-focused, evidence-based care delivery, safe and timely discharge, and coordinated patient reviews.
- Undertake the function of hospital coordinator when no Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) or CNM-After Hours is present, including the implementation of management strategies, forward resource (human and equipment) planning, and appropriate escalation of care or concern for support.
