Clinical Care Coordinator

At GenesisCare, we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes. As a Registered Nurse in our Radiation Oncology team, you will play a crucial role in providing clinical care and support to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
- Interact with patients, educate them on their treatment plans, and provide wound management and drug administration as needed.
- Effectively manage nursing patient load and facilitate effective communication with doctors, patient services, physics, and radiation therapy staff.
- Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice nursing standards.
- Ensure medication management protocols are followed and establish communication for allied health services using ISBAR communication tool.
Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Clinical experience as a nurse with demonstrated understanding of oncology and the ability to liaise with allied health care.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients.
- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to the application of quality improvement and best practice principles, including the NSQHS.
- Strong commitment to quality patient care.
- Ability to use electronic clinical administration systems.
