This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide person-centred Positive Behaviour Support services across the lifespan, focusing on delivering evidence-based interventions and improving quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting functional behaviour assessments to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviours.
  • Developing and implementing behaviour support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Delivering targeted interventions to reduce behaviours of concern and enhance overall well-being.
Requirements:
  • Interest in or experience with Positive Behaviour Support and disability services, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality support.
  • Relevant background in allied health, education, social sciences or disability (formal qualifications desirable but not mandatory for entry-level roles).
  • Eligibility for registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner with the relevant regulatory body.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work across multiple projects and caseloads.
  • Willingness to participate in supervision, professional development and reflective practice to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Compliance with necessary screening checks, including Police Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working With Children Check.
  • Valid right to work in Australia.
