Job Description:

This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing the engineering aspects of rail system projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing project inputs, including project programs, quality plans, and design management documentation.

They should be able to interface with cross-functional teams, resolving high-level issues to ensure best project outcomes.

The selected individual will also be responsible for controlling design costs, ensuring necessary reviews, verifications, and validations are conducted, and facilitating project design reviews.

  • Responsible for the overall direction and coordination of rail system projects from conceptualization to delivery.
  • Develops, implements, and manages project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Liaises with stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project progress.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

For this role, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineering Manager who possesses a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

The ideal candidate must have at least 15 years' cumulative engineering experience, with 10 years' experience in rail projects.

They should also hold QR Competencies and RPEQ Status.

The selected individual must possess strong communication skills, including negotiation and influencing skills, and ability to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
