Job Description:

Our organization is seeking an Agricultural Specialist to play a crucial role in helping clients create successful and sustainable businesses. The ideal candidate will build strong relationships with clients, providing agronomic technical advice, products, and services that help them thrive.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing agronomic and technical support to strengthen clients' businesses
  • Achieving allocated financial objectives and assisting with forecasting and inventory management
  • Promoting staff upskilling through technical advice, mentorship, and product recommendations
  • Developing and fostering professional relationships with targeted groups of existing and new clients
  • Assisting with field days, farmer meetings, and trial/demonstration work
  • Working as part of the rural products sales team to build client relationships and drive success
  • Developing spray and fertiliser programs
  • Conducting water, soil, and plant tissue testing
