A dynamic role has become available for an Employment Consultant, where you will support participants in transforming their lives. You will collaborate with stakeholders, including employers and participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position, reporting to the Business Manager at our office. As a Disability Employment Services Employment Consultant, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and securing employment opportunities with local employers.
- Supporting participants in developing skills to become job-ready.
- Delivering quality services while adhering to contractual and compliance standards.
- Enhancing employability through training and support referrals.
- Creating personalized job plans for employment pathways.
- Building and maintaining relationships with local employers and community groups.
Skills and Qualifications
- You must have the eligibility to work in Australia.
- A current driver's license and insured vehicle are essential.
- You need to obtain a MyGovID (Standard level).
- You should be willing to complete a National Police Check.
- You require the ability to pass a Working with Children Check.
- You need to be available for full-time work, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
