**About the Role - Strategic Finance Partner**

The Strategic Finance Partner will provide real-time support and detailed financial analysis to assist in operational and strategic decision-making. This role requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of commercial business practices, and the ability to deliver high-quality information in a clear and user-friendly manner.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide assistance with timely and accurate preparation of monthly management reports, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed cost analysis for programs.
  • Preparation and presentation of high-quality, timely monthly management reports for programs, including insightful analysis of performance against the operating budget and ensuring the monthly reporting deadlines are met.
  • Preparation of annual operating cost budgets for programs.
  • Preparation of financial analysis and financial models for tenders and funding submissions.
  • Provision of financial advice and support to managers.

**Salary and Benefits**

The hourly rate for this position is between $50.34 and $53.84 per hour. **Required Skills and Qualifications**

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, commerce, or an equivalent related discipline.
  • Experience in a management accounting/business partnering role, including budgeting, forecasting, monthly reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Sound understanding of commercial business practices and principles, including a proven ability to influence commercial outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven workplace and to effectively manage challenges and changing priorities while still meeting team and agency deadlines.
  • Proven high-level analytical skills, including a high level of proficiency with MS Excel and computer-based financial systems.
