Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the breakfast shift, overseeing a full buffet breakfast and live omelet station, ensuring seamless execution and excellent quality control.
  • Prepare and present dishes according to Brand Standard guidelines, showcasing creativity and attention to detail.
  • Maintain strict standards of food preparation, presentation, and cooking techniques, adhering to Health & Safety and HACCP regulations.
  • Interact with guests, providing exceptional customer service and personalized attention, resulting in repeat business and positive word-of-mouth.
  • Support stock control, including daily monitoring and reporting stock needs to the Head Chef, ensuring optimal inventory management and minimizing waste.
  • Contribute to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, upholding high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Take responsibility for the smooth operation of assigned kitchen sections, demonstrating adaptability and effective communication skills.
  • Assist in food preparation for breakfast buffet and function services, working collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Must have valid Australian working rights.
  • Proven experience as a skilled Breakfast Chef, preferably in a similar hotel environment.
