Transformation Leader for Water Infrastructure

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team in regional NSW. As a key member of our Infrastructure division, you will be responsible for tracking and controlling costs during the project life cycle.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all costs associated with the project are accurately estimated, monitored, and controlled. This includes interpreting specifications and standards, assessing their impact on project costs, and identifying variances between planned and actual costs.
To achieve this, you will work closely with our project managers and engineers to ensure that all aspects of the project are managed effectively. This includes creating tender event schedules, budgeting and tender reconciliation, change management, and variance analysis.
You will also be responsible for quantification and costing of construction work, quantity take-off, and preparing bills of quantities. Additionally, you will prepare estimates, quantities, prices, and costing for the project.

Key Responsibilities:
- Tracking, monitoring, and controlling costs during the project life cycle
- Interpreting specification and standards and assessing their impact on project costs
- Using Planning-Budgeting-Forecasting cost control model to increase profitability by identifying variances between these cost elements
- Analyzing actual cost against planned cost and forecasting final cost versus budget
- Creatng tender event schedules for procurement programs
- Budget/Tender reconciliation, change management, and variance analysis
- Quantification and costing of construction work
- Quantity Take-off and preparing Bills of Quantities
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for project
Requirements:
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience on infrastructure projects within the construction industry

Salary: The salary for this position is between $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, depending on experience.
