Senior Haemodialysis Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse to join our Haemodialysis Unit team at Flinders Medical Centre.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct person-centred nursing care and individual case management to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.
- Plan and coordinate services with other disciplines or agencies in providing individual health care needs.
- Support nursing practice and learning experiences for students undertaking clinical placements, orientation for new staff and preceptorship of graduates.
- Provide ward/team leader/coordination as required on a shift-by-shift basis.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in working in an acute care setting.
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
- Proven experience in delivering high-quality and safe care consistent with the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
- Haemodialysis experience in a Haemodialysis Unit and experience managing a clinical portfolio is essential.
- Registered Nurse with at least 3 years, full-time equivalent, post-registration experience.
