Job Summary

This role involves delivering timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services for school, preschools and corporate-based customers throughout the Department for Education in South Australia.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver timely and effective first level ICT Service Desk support services for school, preschools and corporate-based customers.
  • Utilise incident and request management processes to promptly restore normal service operations, efficiently fulfill standard service requests, or identify and assign them to the appropriate support teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of ICT Service Delivery operations and maximise ICT support service provision.
  • Apply best practice processes, including the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework, in combination with strong ICT technical and communication skills.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the Delivering Digital ICT Master Plan and the ongoing improvement of ICT infrastructure services for government schools and preschools.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Essential: Nil
  • Desirable: ITIL v4 Foundations; A tertiary qualification in an ICT related discipline or equivalent experience
Benefits

ASO3 $67,589 - $72,033 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading
