Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Specialist to join our international design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing the integration of technology products onto construction machines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed mechanical systems using solid models and bill of materials
  • Produce technical documentation and assembly instructions
  • Perform design verification and qualification testing
  • Optimize mechanical structures through simulation analysis
  • Release new product design for product introduction
  • Participate in corrective action plans for mechanical systems
  • Provide technical support and consultation as required
  • Analyze data to determine design feasibility
  • Execution and documentation of on-machine tests
  • Troubleshoot complex problems on controls systems
  • Conduct machine set-ups and tear-downs for events such as product proof of concept/prototype tests

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, or related field
  • Demonstrable professional experience as a mechanical engineer relevant to your level
  • 3D CAD modeling package experience is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with a global team
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel, Visio, and Google Workspace apps
  • Fitness and manual dexterity to work in a machine test environment
  • Able to self learn and work autonomously
  • Knowledge of CAN, Ethernet, Wifi, and Serial communication protocols
