We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Security Governance and Compliance Consultant. This position is ideal for an individual with a proven track record in managing security risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and implementing effective governance practices.

\

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our organization's compliance posture by performing regular security risk assessments, reviewing and updating policies and procedures, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions that meet business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing security risk assessments to identify areas for improvement\
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to implement solutions that meet business needs\
  • Reviewing and updating policies and procedures to ensure alignment with industry best practices\
  • Providing guidance and support to team members on security governance and compliance matters\
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of security governance and compliance\
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration\
  • Contributing to the development of security-related training programs and resources\
  • Assisting with the implementation of security controls and monitoring their effectiveness\
  • Providing input on security-related projects and initiatives\
  • Participating in regular meetings with senior leadership to discuss security governance and compliance matters\
  • Supporting the development of strategic plans for security governance and compliance initiatives\
  • Other duties as assigned.\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable recommendations.\
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.\
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.\
  • Proven experience in a security governance and compliance role, with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and industry standards.\
  • Experience with security risk management frameworks, such as NIST Cybersecurity Framework.\
  • Ability to think strategically and prioritize tasks effectively.\
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.\
  • Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.\
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.\
  • Highly motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for security governance and compliance.\
  • Professional certifications in security governance and compliance, such as CISSP or CISM, are highly desirable.
