CYBER SECURITY ENGINEERS/ARCHITECT at Torch Professional Services

Overview

Cyber Security Engineers/Architects will work with project teams, engineers, solution architects and systems integrators to analyse and document cyber security risks and to support secure design and implementation across ICT systems.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse and document cyber security risks; develop and deliver Security Documentation Packs (e.g., Systems Security Plans, Continuous Monitoring Plan, Incident Response Plans, Security Risk Management Plans) to support Authority to Operate (ATO) in consultation with the client's Cyber and Information Assurance Branch.
  • Ensure alignment with security publications and frameworks (ISM, Essential 8, Security Principles Framework).
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate cyber security risks using methods such as threat modelling and vulnerability assessments.
  • Assess the security posture of third-party vendors and ensure they meet organisational security requirements.
  • Manage the ATO-C/ATO process and advise on compliance with assurance and governance requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholder management to support achieving ATO-C/ATO.
Qualifications
  • Must have NV1 or NV2 clearances (non-negotiable).
  • Immediate or 4 weeks notice start.
Desirable Skills/Qualifications
  • Information/cyber security and cloud qualifications are highly desirable and/or 5 years minimum experience: CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, Security+; Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Identity and Access Administrator Associate; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional, AWS Certified Security - Specialty; Google Cloud Professional.
