Senior Cyber Security Architect Opportunity

This is a chance to contribute to a large-scale federal program aimed at enhancing security, resilience and reducing fraud.

Job Description

The Senior Cyber Security Architect will be responsible for providing specialist advice and architecture across various security areas including Identity and Access Management, Cyber Security Operations, Data Security, Payments and Debt Management, API Gateways, Fraud and Case Management, Mobile Applications and Governance Risk Compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in technical cyber security architecture including security governance, risk and compliance. They should also have experience working in agile environments at scale, with the ability to adapt to changes in project direction and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve complex cyber security issues and risks
  • Develop and implement projects focused on reducing technology risk, governance and compliance
  • Develop IT security standards, policies, procedures and controls for managing risks
  • Support business areas by ensuring stakeholders address relevant compliance standards
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in technical cyber security architecture
  • Experience working in agile environments at scale
  • Ability to obtain Baseline or NV clearance

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Australian Government governance concepts with a focus on ICT, policy/standards development, documentation of frameworks and will be able to produce technical documentation and present to executives and architecture forums with ability to influence outcomes.
