This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a Multi-Purpose Health Service with an enthusiastic management team to deliver emergency and acute care to The Woorabinda Community.
- Accountability for safe patient-focused care and sound financial management of the Acute Care Unit.
- Promote innovation and change through constant improvement to increase staff satisfaction and patient safety.
- Safe rostering, absenteeism management, and effective recruitment strategies while developing your team.
- Promote team stability through the ability to communicate with peers, team, and develop a cohesive acute care team.
- Contribute to the Management on-call roster on a 1:4 rota.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Acute Care Unit, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages collaboration and open communication.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve staff satisfaction and retention.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
We are looking for an experienced and registered nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- A current annual practising certificate.
- Post-graduate qualifications in acute care, health management, and indigenous health are highly desirable.
- An hourly rate between $66.85 - $72.58 p.h.
