Job Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate lawyer with 2-6 years post-admission experience to join our Melbourne Corporate team, working alongside partners and senior lawyers in a well-established team.

This is a hands-on corporate role with significant learning and development opportunities, and the chance to work with a broad mix of local and international clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
  • Working on matters relating to corporate/M&A transactions (including due diligence), analysis of legal, contractual, and other issues, and attending to regulatory matters.
  • Liaising with clients and corporate advisers, as well as other groups within the firm who provide input on M&A issues.
  • Attending to completion of transactions.
  • Being part of a team on other commercial transactions, such as capital raisings (private and public), joint ventures, and management equity structures.
About You
  • 2-6 years post-admission experience in a corporate practice.
  • Experience in M&A transactions.
  • Analytical and drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong commercial acumen; technical excellence and drive.
