Program Coordinator Job

We are seeking a skilled Program Coordinator to lead our Young Adult Enrichment Program (YAEP) for young adults with complex support needs.

  • This role involves coordinating and planning weekly programs, collaborating with families and the team, and ensuring individual goals and weekly plans build confidence, friendships and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing individualized support plans that foster growth and development
  • Creating and managing a balanced program schedule, including activities such as hydrotherapy, communication/social routines, and inclusive outings
  • Maintaining risk assessments and individual support plans, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and frameworks
  • Providing day-to-day guidance to carers and overseeing staff supervision and training
  • Ensuring staff work within their scope and promoting professional development
  • Upholding zero-tolerance policies regarding abuse, neglect, exploitation, and discrimination
Selection Criteria / Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years experience in the disability sector
  • Practical knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, zero-tolerance framework, safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting
