Program Assistant
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about supporting young adults with disability as they build skills for life. This role involves working directly with participants to help them set and achieve goals around employment, education, social connection, and community participation.

The successful candidate will be guided by the Program Manager and work closely with Program Facilitators to deliver sessions, lead small group activities, and provide 1:1 support. They will also be responsible for adapting and personalising their support to ensure all participants feel capable, included, and empowered.

About The Role
We are looking for a Program Assistant who is dedicated to supporting young adults with disability. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supporting the delivery of structured group programs across a variety of interest and skill-building areas
  • Leading small-group and 1:1 activities such as travel training, digital skills, budgeting, or goal-setting
  • Helping participants practise everyday skills through hands-on, real-world learning and community engagement
  • Adapting and personalising your support to ensure all participants feel capable, included, and empowered
