Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Centre Cook to join our team. As a key member of the kitchen team, you will play a vital role in shaping the daily experiences of the children in our care.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the safety of children by preparing meals that cater to special dietary requirements and allergies. You will use your creativity and organisational skills to plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare high-quality meals that meet the nutritional needs of young children.
  • Ensure all storage, handling and preparation of food and drinks is hygienic.
  • Plan menus and order food supplies in consultation with the Centre Director.

Requirements

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or experience cooking within a childcare setting.
  • Current NSW Working with Children Check.
