Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading provider with over 45 centres across New South Wales. We are seeking an experienced Centre Cook to join our Parramatta & Woodcroft Region.
This is a Full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Responsibilities- Implement and modify seasonal menus created by our nutritionist
- Maintain compliance with NSW Food Standards Code and Health Regulations
- Assist staff and families in providing high-quality education and care
- Collaborate with staff and families to facilitate relevant learning opportunities
- Maintain respectful relationships with management, staff, families, and children
- Experience as a Cook/Chef in the Aged Care or Early Childhood Education and Care sector
- An ACECQA-approved qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care is preferred but not mandatory
- Relevant Commercial Cook qualification
- Food Handlers Basics Certificate
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check
- Knowledge of Food Standards Codes, EYLF, and NQS
