Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Commercial Contracts Specialist to join our growing Commercial Team in Sydney CBD. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to develop your commercial acumen and contract management skills while working closely with our Sales and Legal Teams.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice on contractual and commercial matters, reviewing and negotiating Supply Contracts, and leading contractual negotiations to ensure optimal outcomes for our business.

You will also assist in the improvement and development of commercial and contracting processes, advise on claims and dispute resolution, and manage the close out of contractual disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters
  • Review and negotiate Supply Contracts
  • Lead contractual negotiations to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Assist in the improvement and development of commercial and contracting processes
  • Advise on claims and dispute resolution
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Law, Commerce, Quantity Surveying, or other associated disciplines
  • Relevant industry experience as a Commercial Manager, Contracts Manager, or Legal Counsel
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • An advanced understanding of construction contracts and keen eye for detail
  • Experience with making and responding to contractual claims
Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is between $120,000 - $180,000, depending on experience.
