Environmental Services Role

Our organization is seeking an Environmental Services Professional to provide and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness in a hospital setting.

This position involves working collaboratively with our team to ensure a positive contribution and make a difference to those around you.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where you will be responsible for providing and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the hospital. You will use a range of equipment and be accountable for your own designated cleaning responsibilities to ensure the team reaches its goals.

You will have the opportunity to work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Environmental Services team, making a positive contribution and making a difference to those around you.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have previous cleaning experience in a hospital and theatre setting, with a passion for delivering high-quality customer service. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to handle high-volume workflows will be key to this role.

  • Understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Proven experience with hazard identification
  • Understanding of food safety and hygiene principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to commence at short notice 7 days a week to cover mornings, afternoon and evening shifts.

Desirable qualifications include experience in the healthcare industry and previous housekeeping roles.
