Housekeeping Opportunity

This role is focused on delivering exceptional cleaning services with a high standard of cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping operations and be able to work effectively in a team structure or unsupervised.

  • Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection prevention and control procedures, and providing excellent customer service.

The selected individual will be part of our Environmental Services department at the Darlinghurst Campus. This role will be casual with a rotational roster that includes 7 days a week, morning and afternoon shifts as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Experience in housekeeping operations in either a hospital or hotel environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team structure or unsupervised.
  • Reliability, punctuality, hard work, and a well-groomed appearance.
  • Strong relationship and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Ability to work a rotational roster with 7 day availability including weekdays, weekend and public holidays, morning and afternoon shifts if required.
  • Beneficial to have the ability to operate polishers and scrubbers.
