We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Policy Officer to join our Public Health Regulation (PHR) policy team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing regulatory policy and legislative change that supports and enables proportionate regulation of public health risks.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake policy analysis, development, and implementation, and provide informed policy advice to stakeholders on ACT public health regulation strategies and activities.
- Contribute to the regulation and oversight of public health standards, ensuring that our community remains safe and healthy.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement policies that protect and enhance public health in the ACT.
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong background in public health, policy development, and/or regulatory frameworks. You will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment and respond quickly to changing priorities.
