Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Arborist to join our team in the management and curation of our highly valued tree collections. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing new arboriculture practices, prioritizing workload, and ensuring the accurate recording and analysis of arboriculture collections using IrisBG plant database and GIS systems.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in Arboriculture AQF5 or equivalent with experience in tree maintenance, pest and disease control, weed management, and irrigation control.
  • Level II Chainsaw Operation/ Fell Trees Manually (Intermediate)
  • Qualification in Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) and ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ or equivalent)
  • Experience in arboriculture industry, including tree climbing and complex rigging works.
