We are seeking a Dental Assistant to provide chair-side assistance to dentists and hygienists in the delivery of dental services to patients. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with experienced healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
The role involves supporting the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care to patients within a dental surgery environment. This includes maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery and assisting with patient care.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- Personal integrity and ethical behavior at the highest levels.
- A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
- At least 2 years (full-time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years.
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
- Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
