Job Overview

The Prelude FLNG facility is a large industrial operation located in Australian Commonwealth waters. It comprises sub-sea wells tied back to an FLNG facility, which includes gas processing and liquefaction through to LNG/LPG/Condensate storage and offloading, along with supporting marine and utilities facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures at all times
  • Maintain equipment within design specifications and standards
  • Respond to process emergencies under the direction of the Area Team Leader
  • Contribute to the continuous safe and efficient operation of the FLNG facility
  • Execute field operations activities in accordance with daily routines, production, and maintenance plans
  • Control work in your area of accountability through the Permit-To-Work system
  • Safely operate the PTW system by designing, verifying, and implementing process isolations
  • Communicate any abnormal conditions or potential equipment failures that could cause unsafe operation or off-spec product quality
  • Update relevant logs during your shift period to maintain accurate records of plant and equipment
  • Troubleshoot abnormalities related to your production area

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant technical/vocational qualification
  • Previous experience as a Production Technician in a similar operational environment
  • Knowledge of hydrocarbon processing
  • Experience with the operation of steam turbines and turbine certification
