About the Position: We have a new opportunity for an accomplished Accountant with public practice experience and client interaction skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships, and trusts.
Liaise with the ATO on behalf of clients.
Contribute to client interaction and advisory.
Advise business owners and individuals regarding tax legislation.
Identify areas of opportunity such as business planning, business/tax structuring, and profit improvement.
Detect and address potential compliance issues proactively.
Requirements: To be successful in this role you will possess or be able to evidence most or all of the following selection criteria:
Hold an Accounting Degree qualification.
Proven Australian experience in a Public Practice Accounting firm.
Strong understanding of accounting, compliance, and tax, including income tax, CGT, FBT, and GST.
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and manage time to meet deadlines.
High proficiency with Accounting software packages.
