About this opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Coordinator to join our Student Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the operational aspects of student services activities, including admissions, compliance, and student progression and wellbeing.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position for up to 2 years, at HEW level 6. The successful candidate will have an undergraduate qualification with significant relevant experience, or extensive experience and specialist expertise in the field of student administration.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Coordinating the operational aspects of student services activities, across the student lifecycle
  • Providing day-to-day supervision to professional staff in the Student Services Team
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective staff training program
  • Oversight of responses to enquiries and coordination of the provision of advice and support
  • Review of procedures and processes, recommending improvements and implementation of agreed changes

The ideal candidate will have excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, as well as strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks and ensure deadlines are met. They will also possess a good knowledge of the Vocational Education and Training Sector and an understanding of ASQA standards.
