CatholicCare Wollongong is seeking a highly motivated and experienced OSH Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in our Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging and educational programs for children aged 5-12 years
  • Supervise and support a team of educators to ensure a safe and inclusive environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver programs that meet the needs of children and families
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to child safety and wellbeing
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and community partners to promote a sense of belonging and connection
Requirements
  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in education and/or care of children
  • Completed Child Protection training (CHCPRT001)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID0012 or HLTAID004)
  • CPR Certificate (HLTAID009 or HLTAID001)
  • Paid Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Frameworks, Regulations, and Law that underpin the OSHC sector
