Defence Procurement Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Defence Acquisition program in a pivotal role.
This position requires expertise in vendor management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation to ensure the delivery of critical Defence capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including managing evaluations and conducting supplier negotiations.
- Collaborate with subcontractors to guarantee project delivery meets time, budget, and program objectives.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain compliance and performance standards.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with program goals.
- Support the preparation of procurement documentation, including statements of work, tender evaluation plans, and contract terms.
- Prior experience in procurement within the Defence sector, preferably below the line.
- Strong vendor management skills with a proven track record of successful negotiations.
- Able to navigate complex procurement processes efficiently.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale infrastructure/construction programs is required.
- NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain one is mandatory.
