Procurement Specialist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join a pivotal Defence Acquisition program. The role requires expertise in vendor management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including evaluations and supplier negotiations.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure project delivery meets objectives.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Align procurement strategies with program objectives through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Support the preparation of procurement documentation.
Essential Criteria:
  • Proven experience in procurement within the Defence sector.
  • Strong vendor management skills with a track record of successful negotiations.
  • Ability to navigate complex procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale infrastructure programs.
  • NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain one.
