Quantitative Systematic Trader Role

We are seeking a talented and innovative Quantitative Systematic Trader who can leverage their skills in quantitative research, trading knowledge, and programming to develop new electronic strategies and monitor real-time performance.

As a member of our team, you will play a critical role in investigating market data, leveraging mathematical, statistical, and programming tools to discover new patterns and transform them into profitable trading signals. You will then work with technologists to put these signals into production and monitor their real-time performance in financial markets.

Our comprehensive orientation program is designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry, providing education on topics such as options pricing, proprietary data sets, and data analysis techniques. Our trading floor is an unlimited source of discussion for learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Investigate market data using mathematical, statistical, and programming tools.
  • Develop new electronic strategies and monitor their real-time performance in financial markets.
  • Work with technologists to put trading signals into production.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our trading team through collaboration and innovation.
Requirements:
  • Honours or Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or Economics.
  • Solid analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent logical reasoning.
  • Strong communication skills in fast-paced and/or highly collaborative environments.
  • Experience writing code to process and analyze large sets of data, especially in Python.
  • C++ or other low-level programming languages experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated interest in strategic games and/or competitive activities.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
