We have appointed a new Director of Construction to lead regional Heads and achieve our ambitious growth goals in running great restaurants. The Head of Construction will support this leader and oversee the management and deliverables of the regional construction team with responsibility for delivery across VIC, WA, SA, and TAS markets.

About the Role

This is a senior leadership position that requires experience in architectural/design or construction industry at a management level. You will lead regional construction teams to execute the New Restaurant Growth Plan and Reinvestment Plan. This involves managing a team of project managers in delivering best-in-class designs and built restaurants.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to guide design directions, overseeing master design documentation, exercising expertise in construction cost analysis, and influencing key external partners and contacts at a management level.

Your Keys to Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction, or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' practical experience in the architectural/design or construction industry at a management level.
  • Extensive construction project management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of project management and document management systems such as MS Project.
  • Sound working knowledge of managing consultants, including architects, engineers, interior designers, builders, acousticians, landscape experts, and quantity surveyors.
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management capability.
  • A strong network of construction and design professionals nationally.

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year.
