Crane Sales Representative Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and motivated sales representative to join our team based in Sunshine West or Mulgrave. As a key member of our Industrial Service and Equipment team, you will be responsible for executing the entire selling process through sales leads, cold calls, creating demand and capturing orders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships and formulate product solutions and specifications based on customers' needs
  • Prepare quotations and tenders, negotiate terms and check all commercial terms of offer and order of acceptance in line with compliance requirements and other relevant policies
  • Ensure the accurate and timely completion of Handover documentation for each sales order in order to facilitate effective handover meetings to the Project Manager/Project Engineer in a clear and timely manner
  • Ensure all activity and documentation relating to the interaction with the customer are recorded within the company CRM
  • Maintain awareness of, and compliance with current responsibilities and requirements of the relevant WHS Acts, Regulations and applicable Health and Safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe workplace

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of Australian standards in relation to overhead cranes/hoists is an advantage
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical designs
  • Ability to work with computer programs, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Previous experience using a CRM
  • Demonstrated high degree of organisational ability
  • Possess excellent customer relations skills and have a methodical sales approach
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
