At BAE Systems Australia, we have a unique opportunity for an experienced Subcontracts Manager. This role is responsible for the establishment, placement, and management of contracting arrangements with capable suppliers to deliver cost, schedule, quality, and safety requirements. We seek a professional who can lead supplier evaluation processes, support sourcing recommendations, and finalise supplier agreements in accordance with set procedures.

Required Skills:

  • Strong commercial skills and acumen with a proven capability in contract negotiation and contract management of production/trade subcontracts
  • Ability to interact effectively with colleagues within and outside their immediate team to implement business requirements
  • Well-developed self-management skills and demonstrated ability to work under their own initiative to deliver outputs to time, quality, and cost
  • Excellent organisational skills
