Amazon is seeking a seasoned Sr. Product Manager to drive the vision of a new AWS Service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to own the product development lifecycle, from conception to launch and iteration based on user feedback.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with developer tools, conducting customer interviews, and analyzing data to inform decision making.

You will work closely with UX designers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure technical architecture aligns with the future roadmap and meets customer needs.

In addition, you will collaborate with AWS finance, legal, accounting, and tax teams to ensure compliance with requirements.

We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Owning the working backwards process to define user personas, identify pain points, and propose solutions
  • Translating the broad vision into a prioritized roadmap and actionable requirements
  • Setting goals and identifying KPIs to measure success
  • Collaborating with UX designers to influence customer experience and with engineers to ensure technical architecture/designs align with the future roadmap

This role can be based in either Melbourne, AU or Sydney, AU.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of demonstrated full-lifecycle ownership of product development, with cross-team execution across UX design, engineering, program management, and internal/external stakeholders
  • Track record of taking a product from conception to launch and iterating on the product based on user feedback
  • Strong writing skills to influence senior executives

We offer a competitive salary of $180,000 - $250,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as benefits such as comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
