Design Management Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Design Manager to lead and coordinate the design process for renewable energy projects.

About the Role

The successful candidate will ensure designs meet safety, environmental, and operational standards while adhering to project timelines. They will also oversee constructability and monitor design resource effectiveness.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare concept designs for tenders and bids, ensuring all design elements are integrated and aligned.
  • Support the estimating team by generating engineering quantities and RFQ packages for bids.
  • Develop and maintain the Design Plan throughout the tender or project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and validate design proposals to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop and implement innovative design solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Renewable Energy projects, including Commercial / Industrial Solar Farms and Battery Storage systems.
  • Proven design and construction experience in HV Power Systems projects.
  • Strong understanding of safety and environmental compliance in design and construction.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Autodesk CAD, PSCAD, PVsyst), MS Office Suite, and basic planning/supply chain tools.
