With a strong background in distributed systems and modern cloud architectures, you will design and implement scalable, high-performance features that meet the needs of our global customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop technical strategies that align with key company objectives
- Lead multi-year projects to drive business outcomes
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design leaders to shape department-level strategy
- Partner with principal engineers and architects to explore large-scale projects spanning multiple teams
- Mentor, hire and develop other engineers
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in software/technology roles in Enterprise Products & Solutions in the cloud
- Proficiency with cloud-native technologies, ideally AWS
- At least 6 years of experience architecting and implementing multiple features of a SaaS product at a high scale, performance and reliability of at least 4 nines
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, modern cloud-native architectures, and distributed data management
- Ability to balance short- and long-term objectives, focusing on both technical and business outcomes

About the Role:
This is a remote role, and with sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we can hire eligible candidates from any location in Australia and New Zealand providing they have eligible working rights.
