Job Title:

Sr. Executive Lead - Growth Strategy

About the Role:

This is a key executive leadership position within our organisation, responsible for driving sustainable growth and ensuring robust regulatory compliance.

  • We are seeking a passionate and strategic leader to help shape our future through planning, economic development, and regulatory compliance.
  • The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuring statutory processes are timely and solutions-focused, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, and delivering outcomes aligned with our strategic objectives.
  • You will play a central role in major initiatives, such as the activation of our industrial port precinct and facilitating residential growth projects to build the future of our region.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement plans to drive sustainable growth and economic development.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all statutory processes are up-to-date and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate major initiatives to deliver positive outcomes for our community.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in local government.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and improving regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • A sound understanding of NSW local government operations and legislation.
