The Senior Financial Operations Lead will oversee the financial operations of a global organization, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. Reporting to the Finance Director and leading a team of direct and indirect reports, you'll be responsible for managing budgeting and forecasting processes, including variance analysis and reporting.
You will drive operational excellence and strong working capital management while fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability within the finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards;
- Managing general ledger functions and maintaining robust internal controls;
- Providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership to support business initiatives;
- Driving improvements in financial systems and processes;
- Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CA qualification preferred);
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, including at least 3 years in a leadership role;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards;
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools such as SAP, BPC, AARO, and Power BI;
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills;
- A hands-on, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
